Setting Up PulseRP for Your Discord Server
PulseRP is a free Discord bot and web dashboard for running the day-to-day of an RP server: staff applications, clock-in tracking, events, and more, all toggleable per module. This guide covers inviting the bot, connecting the dashboard, and turning on the pieces your community needs.
What PulseRP replaces
Most RP servers stitch together staff management out of a handful of separate bots, a spreadsheet for shift tracking, a form tool for applications, and a manual process for everything else. PulseRP consolidates that into one bot and one dashboard, with each module built specifically for how RP communities actually run staff and events.
Every module is independently toggleable, so a small server can run with just applications and rules onboarding, while a larger one can turn on the full set without adding a second bot.

Members self-manage in-character profiles: name, age, faction, backstory.

Community upvotes/downvotes with staff marking each Approved, Denied, or Implemented.
Giveaways
Timed giveaways with role-gated entry and automatic winner drawing.
Rules Onboarding
An "I Accept" button that grants a role, with a live acceptance count.
FiveM Server Status
A live-updating embed showing hostname, player count, and a join link.
Getting connected
Invite the bot
Get the invite link from the PulseSystems Discord and add PulseRP to your server. You need Manage Server permissions to complete the invite.
Log into the dashboard
Sign in at the PulseRP web dashboard with the same Discord account. Your server appears automatically once the bot is a member.
Turn on the modules you need
From Dashboard → Modules, toggle on whichever features your server actually uses. Nothing runs, and no commands register, for a module that stays switched off.
Configure staff roles
Set which Discord roles count as staff for review, approvals, and moderation actions across the modules you enabled. This is what gates who can Accept an application or approve an LOA request.
A sensible starting set
You don't need every module on day one. For a new or small server, a good starting combination is Rules Onboarding (so new members can't participate until they accept the rules), Applications (for staff or whitelist review), and FiveM Server Status (so your Discord always shows whether the server is up). Clock In/Out and the staff-history modules matter more once you actually have a staff team large enough to need shift accountability, so it's fine to enable those later.
